WE ARE A DEBT RELIEF AGENCY. WE HELP PEOPLE FILE FOR BANKRUPTCY RELIEF UNDER THE BANKRUPTCY CODE.
We can discuss your financial options with you at no charge. If you determine you need to file bankruptcy we will help you choose the correct chapter of bankruptcy to fit your needs. Bankruptcy can involve restructuring your debts (Chapter 13) or eliminating them completely (Chapter 7). The filing of either type of bankruptcy not only stops lawsuits, garnishments, and harassing phone calls from creditors, but Chapter 13 may enable you to save your home from foreclosure or pay back taxes without further penalties or interest. The most utilized form of bankruptcy, Chapter 7, typically takes three to four months to complete, requires debtors to make one brief appearance before a bankruptcy trustee, and is usually done for one fixed fee. Chapter 13 plans involve a three year to five year repayment schedule which commits all your disposable income to pay at least a portion of your debt. Our fees in Chapter 13 vary depending on the complexity of your case.
The bankruptcy laws have changed significantly in October 2005. The new law places new burdens on debtors and their attorney's. If you decide to file bankruptcy we will help you meet the additional hurdles imposed by the new law.
Family Law Our firm handles a full range of Family Law matters, including divorce, establishment and modification of custody and child support, premarital agreements, adoption, parenting time issues, paternity. Legal disputes relating to divorce or which involve children are often very emotional for the participants. Often mediation offers the best path toward resolution. If appropriate, we encourage our clients to try mediation as an alternative to litigation.
- Personal Injury If you have been injured, or if a family member has been killed in an accident, please call us. We assist our clients in receiving the maximum possible compensation for their injuries, lost wages, and other damages. We take most personal injury cases on a "contingent fee" basis. Our fee is contingent upon your recovery. You pay no attorney fees unless we recover money from you. If you or a family member has been injured in an accident, as a result of intentional misconduct or professional negligence, please give us a call.
- Real Estate We represent both commercial clients and individuals in many proceedings and transactions which deal with real property (land and the structures attached to it), including purchase and sale agreements, notes and trust deeds, foreclosures, leases, adverse possession, quiet title actions, and boundary disputes.
- Wills and Probate Everyone should have an Advance Directive, which designates who will make health care decisions if they become incapacitated, and to what extent they want their life supported in such situations. Many young adults do not believe they need a Will. However, for young parents an important issue for their families who will be guardians of their children if the parents should die in an accident. If you are older or without young children, we can help you decide whether you even need a Will, or perhaps a Living Trust. We also represent executors and personal representatives in probate matters.
